Registration & Check-in
We begin the 2026 Rocky Mountain Round Up at Pikes Peak International Raceway. For those wishing to pick up their registration packets, they will be available in the North Garages, at Pikes Peak International Raceway infield, PPIR, 16650 Midway Ranch Road, Fountain from 7am – 3pm.
Morning Autocross (PPIR Infield)
RMMR’s autocross returns to the PPIR infield for 2026. Kick off Thursday morning by putting your Mustang to the test in our autocross event. This low-risk, high-fun course is all about precision, control, and learning how your car responds at the limit. Whether you’re chasing times or just want to experience your Mustang in a performance setting, autocross is a great way to build confidence, sharpen your skills, and have a blast alongside fellow enthusiasts.
This event takes place in the infield of PPIR away from barricades and hazards. Cars go one at a time. Autocross is one of the safest and easiest ways to dip your toe into testing the performance of your car.
This year volunteering is welcomed, but not required to participate.

Afternoon Track Day (PPIR Roval)
In the afternoon, take things to the next level with our track day event. This is your chance to stretch your Mustang’s legs in a true road course environment, enjoying extended sessions and real track speeds in a controlled setting. From first-time track drivers to seasoned veterans, the event offers an unforgettable driving experience and a rare opportunity to fully appreciate what your car was built to do.
This untimed, driving experience offer participants a go on the full PPIR track in one of three run groups:
- Green – No experience
- Blue – Some experience, but none at PPIR
- Red – Experienced and comfortable on PPIR
Friday, June 19th
Pikes Peak Mountain Tour
Experience one of the most iconic drives in motorsports as you take your Mustang up the legendary route of the Pikes Peak International Hill Climb. This individually paced mountain tour climbs all the way to the summit of Pikes Peak, following the same twists, turns, and elevation changes that challenge the world’s best drivers each year. It’s a bucket-list drive that blends Mustang heritage, breathtaking scenery, and pure Colorado adventure—perfect for anyone who wants an unforgettable seat-time experience without the pressure of competition.
After you’ve had your fill of scenic views and chilly mountain-top temps, head out with other participants toward Cripple Creek and our host hotel, the Chamonix.
Cripple Creek Social
Back by popular demand, the Cripple Creek Rec Center will host an old-fashioned BBQ and social event. Dinner will be provided by local BBQer Chicago Bob’s and includes smoked brisket and pulled pork, with sides like baked beans, macaroni salad, coleslaw and rolls. Tickets are required to attend.
Saturday, June 20th
Show n’ Shine
The crowning event of RMMR is the Saturday Show n’ Shine, to be held along Main Street (Bennett Ave.) in Cripple Creek Colorado. With several hundred participants, this is one of the largest Mustang-focused shows you’ll find in the Rocky Mountain region!
The Show n’ Shine will feature special guest, Heather Storm! She’ll be signing autographs, visiting with show attendees, and hosting our award ceremony.
The Show n’ Shine is NOT a concours judged competition, but does offer judging in a variety of Mustang-specific classes. Staging will begin at 7 am with a 10 am start and will end promptly at 3:00 pm.
Winners in each of the Show n’ Shine classes will be selected by Judging Teams (residents of the Colorado Springs community) using the following non-concours criteria: Cleanliness, Craftsmanship and Quality.

Award Presentation
Show n’ Shine awards presentation is FREE and OPEN to all participants. All other trophies will also be available for pickup starting at 3pm in the Cripple Creek Rec Center. Complimentary light refreshments will be available and is open to all participants. All registered participants are eligible for Specialty Awards and those awards will be announced at approximately 1:30pm.
